Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue formerly known as the Clear Creek County Animal Rescue League (CCCARL) is a 100% volunteer organization. Hope for Animals is constantly striving to place rescue animals into a great homes. We are always in need of volunteers and donations.

Please note that Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue and the Clear Creek/Gilpin Co. Animal Shelter are two separate, independently managed organizations. Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue rescues animals from several shelters in the region and finds temporary living situations for them until they are adopted. All Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue animals are living in boarding facilities or foster homes. The the animals featured on this website are Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue animals and others that do not live at the shelter.

The adoption fees for Hope For Animals dogs is $100, puppies are $125, cats are $75 and kittens are $100. Adoption fees cover spay/neuter costs and vaccinations.

Looking for cats or kittens?
We have recently partnered with Angels with Paws, a no kill non profit all cat rescue organization. Angels with Paws has kittens all year long. They have an entire room dedicated to kittens. Angels with Paws is a free roam cat facility with limited space to house and adopt out cats and kittens.

Thousands of kittens are euthanized each year in area shelters because of the immense number of kittens that are born. Many people are unaware that a cat can get pregnant at least 4 times a year if they are not spayed.

Don't see the animal you are looking for? New cats and dogs arrive weekly so check back often. Also, Hope For Animals always has cats on display at Petco in Golden and the Petco and Petsmart at S. Wadsworth and Crestline in Littleton.
